Warm and Sunny Today (Updated)

Posted on April 6th, 2014

It's another awesome, sunny day on the hill.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 41 degrees. West wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph possible at times on the Summit. A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 11am but I expect to see more sun than snow today.

Chairlifts in Operation

All Chairs in operation today, as well as the Pika Peak and #100LAPS rope tows.

Tillikum and Skookum will be closed for the NW Cup Finals slalom and giant slalom races.

Check out the grooming report for full details on groomed runs and open terrain.

Surface Conditions

A touch of new in the Upper Basin yesterday and overnight has groomed runs looking good this morning. Soft, carvable corduroy will be found all across the mountain.

Off-piste conditions are softer this morning than in previous days. Reports abound of fun skiing and riding off the groomed runs, especially if you’re will to put in a little work to get there.

Ski and ride with care as unmarked obstacles do exist. Always enjoy the mountain with a partner to share the fun and stay safe.
