Family Fun In The Sun

Posted on March 15th, 2014

It looks like the snow is gonna stay away today, but thats ok. Tons of Sun and lighter than forecast winds are making for fun spring-like skiing and riding.

A slight chance of snow. Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. South wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Chairlifts in Operation

All chairs in operation today, as well as the Pika Peak and #100LAPS rope tows.

95 percent of our trails are open, with Skookum and Tillikum runs closed for the Western Region Open FIS Race. Check out the grooming report for full details on groomed runs and open terrain.

Surface Conditions

Groomed runs, especially off of Chair 2, have softened up nicely. Chair 3 and Chair 4 groomed runs are slightly firmer with spots of hard pack off of Chair 3.

Off-piste conditions are variable but generally hard packed with spots of wind blown snow.

Ski and ride with care as unmarked obstacles do exist. Always enjoy the mountain with a partner to share the fun and stay safe.
