12:00pm Parks Update: 100Laps Rope Tow and the terrain park are now open with 8 features available.
10:30am Conditions Update: The groomers are skiing really well, with soft conditions up high in particular. With clear vistas above the inversion in the valley, views from the summit are fitting for the occasion. Use caution if you venture onto ungroomed terrain – especially lower down, the snow remains a bit crusty following yesterday’s wintry mix. Early season conditions exist. Low coverage in places. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures as they are there for your safety.
10:10am Parking Update: There are still some spots left, and we anticipate more spots will open up soon.
6:30am Conditions Report: The day we have all been waiting for is finally here! Welcome to the opening day of the 2024/25 winter season. We are excited to enjoy an early opening with three chairs scheduled for operation today! Well-above-average November snowfall has provided some room to roam on the mountain today, but please ease into the season. While we do have an above-average amount of terrain for opening day, there is still a lot of the mountain that will be closed, and the runs that are open will have early-season conditions. Low coverage will be found in places. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures as they are there for your safety.
All resort services will be open, including the Chair 5 Pub, Ka-Wham Cafe, and Midway Lodge, offering early-season menus to keep you fueled for a day on the mountain.
We’re also continuing our tradition of honoring local heroes through the Firefighter and Emergency Personnel Appreciation program. From opening day through December 15th, we’re inviting Firefighters, EMTs, and Law Enforcement professionals—including 2024 seasonal personnel—to enjoy free skiing and riding as a thank-you for their service.
See you on the mountain!
