Skiing conditions should be fantastic this weekend - easily the best of the season here at the Ridge. The 12"-16" of new snow (and some bigger wind drifts) in the upper basin since the lifts last ran, married with the cold temperatures, means there are plenty of powder pockets to explore. Be aware: Early season conditions and coverage still exist, so be careful when off the groomed runs. And please respect rope lines! They are there for your safety.
We will also be opening up a bunch of new terrain! In addition to Tumwater, Mimi and Sunspot, we are opening up Katsuk, Kiwa, Java, Wawa, Tyee, Lower Tyee and Johnsons for the first time this year, greatly expanding our open terrain from last weekend. The #100LAPS terrain park will open for the first time this season on Saturday, with our first rail jam of the season also happening Saturday.
Tickets for this weekend will be discounted to $35 for ages 7-69 and $10 for ages 70+ and 6 & under to reflect the limited opening of chairlifts and terrain.Mountain Updates
