Friday Conditions

Posted on March 7th, 2014

It looks to be a mixed bag of conditions today, but were still gonna have a ton of fun in the sun. Spring skiing season is here which means milder temps, plenty of sun, and several big dumps of powder yet to come.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. West wind 10 to 20 mph.

Chairlifts in Operation

Chairs 1, 2, and 3 in operation, as well as the Pika Peak Rope Tow. The #100LAPS Tow will be in operation as soon as the park crew has a chance to get things buffed out this morning.

100 percent of our trails are open.  Check out the grooming report for full details on groomed runs and open terrain.

Surface Conditions

Expect varying conditions today. In the last 72 hours we've received 10” of snow in the Upper Basin and around 1” of rain at the Base Area. Both groomed and off-piste conditions will change as you make your way down from the Summit, with the best corduroy found on the a.m. groomed runs off of Chair 2. Updates will be made to this report as more personnel are able to get out on the mountain and let you know where to find the goods.

Ski and ride with care as unmarked obstacles do exist. Always enjoy the mountain with a partner to share the fun and stay safe.
