Ski and snowboard tracks over freshly groomed snow

Closing Day Preview

Get ready for an awesome Closing Day on The Ridge to round out the 24/25 Season! Fittingly, we’re expecting continued balmy temperatures as the second day of Flamingo Days takes flight into clear blue skies!  With these warm conditions, we’ve been enjoying some awesome spring skiing, with firm overnight surfaces softening early into beautiful corn in the morning and wet snow later in the day.

Although snow surfaces remain a lot of fun, the mountain continued to experience significant melting on Saturday, particularly at lower elevations. Low coverage and bare spots exist, and Mimi’s skiable terrain became highly restricted in the afternoon. The Mountain Operations team will work hard overnight to replenish the snowpack in key areas, but there will be no beginner terrain accessible via the chairlifts on Sunday. This means that any beginner lessons will occur only on Pika Peak for those who are not ready to head up Chair 2 just yet. For our final day, we will operate Chair 1, Chair 2, Chair 3, The 100Laps Rope Tow, and the Pika Peak Rope Tow. Chair 4 and the Ottobahn Carpet will be closed.

The second day of Flamingo Days will kick off in the morning, with flamingoes hidden on Chair 2 and Chair 3 terrain. Baby Flamingoes for kids will be hidden on Pika Peak. Join the hunt for the chance to win a Premier Pass for 2025-26!

Come prepared for changing conditions throughout the day, grab some spring laps, and help us send off the season in style!

Terrain*

Snow coverage is declining but continues to offer solid spring laps above Midway for those looking to close out the season strong.

However, please note that due to low snow and limited coverage near the base area, there will be no beginner terrain accessible via the chairlifts on Sunday.

Expect limited grooming, areas of low coverage, and bare spots. Runs like Bomber Bowl and Ka Wham will have minimal grooming, while the Summer Road, High-Speed Bypass, and Chili Fries will be closed for the weekend.

Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures, as they are there for your safety. Things can change quickly in the spring. Run status is subject to change at any time based on conditions.
