4/26/25 Conditions Report

1:30 Operations Update: As forecasted, it’s been a super spring day with warm temperatures and sunny skies. Snowpack is melting quickly on the lower mountain and access to the Base Area via Mimi is becoming restricted. In response to changing conditions, we will be closing at 4:00pm this evening and not extending Twilight operations until 6:00pm. After closing, our Mountain Operations crew will work through the night to replenish Mimi’s snowpack for tomorrow. We’re excited to see you for one last day!

10:00 Conditions Update: The prognosis: much more structured than assumed. It’s been a wonderful spring and it seems like it’s going to stay that way for the final heaving sighs of the ski season. The snow base is beachy in higher elevations with more sun, firmer in the shade. Mimi is skiable in the same way a road under construction is drivable. There’s areas cordoned off and expect slowdowns so stay in control and keep an eye out for hazards. The snow will soften as the day progresses, but right now, there’s cords sharp enough to rip open scabs (ask me how I know) and I’m feeling grateful to our grooming team for their experience and dedication to their craft. It’s sunny and warm across the mountain with calm conditions. I recommend staying prepared with dark goggles and some sunscreen. Our off-piste menu is rapidly shortening and there’s some pretty ominous signs at the top of certain chairs. Conditions are variable and hazardous, so make sure to feel out your tracks and always ski in control. Views are gorgeous all around so keep on eye out for the mountains up top, the valley below, and those little flashes of pink you might see as you ski!

6:30 Conditions Report: Is it T-shirt weather yet? It depends on your cold tolerance. With a high in the high 40s and lots of sun in the forecast, I think we’re getting close. The last time the mountain even thought about below freezing temperatures was a few days ago and I wish I had a corny joke for you about that but I anticipate the snow is going to be soft, wet, and thick. While I’m loving these hot and heavy spring conditions, they mean our snow base is dwindling. Expect coverage similar to last weekend with lots of life in that mashed potatoes (and gravy) snow above Midway, but due to limited coverage at lower elevations, there is no beginner terrain accessible from the chair lifts. Anticipate limited grooming, especially on the sunny side. We all know that Bomber Bowl takes a beating and other runs like Kawham will have minimal grooming. Summer Road, Bypass, and Chili Fries are closed for the weekend. It’s a good opportunity to explore a few new runs to send off the season. And hey! It’s Flamingo Days!

Low snow coverage will be found in places. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures, as they are there for your safety. Things can change quickly in the spring. Run status is subject to change at any time based on conditions.

25/26 Season Passes are on sale now! Choose the pass that fits your schedule from Twilight, Core Value, Mid-Week, or Premier, and get stoked for the 25/26 season.

See you on the mountain!

Expect spring conditions today with firmer surfaces in the morning becoming softer and more variable throughout the day. Low snow coverage will be found in places. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures, as they are there for your safety.
