4/12/25 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update: Just as predicted. Scratch that- better than predicted. It’s softening up beautifully in the sun and yet again, the shade is taking a little longer but it’s still relaxing into something sweet and sliceable. Off-piste is variable and firm, so make sure to feel out your tracks before diving into your line. It’s sunny with comfortable temps and a curious lack of the forecast wind at the summit. We’re boasting that uncrowded feel today with wide open runs just begging to be carved.

6:30 Conditions Report: Sunny and 75 is the forecast… for Aruba probably. Who even wants that when we have the prime final weeks of the season tempting us to get out and get some. We should have sun though, don’t worry. Temperatures are predicted to be a little lower than yesterday, staying below freezing and still in that comfortable range. It could get a bit windy at the top, but with the direction of the wind, I reckon if you stay on the Chair 3/4 side you’ll miss the worst of it. The groomers will have firmed overnight as temperatures dropped below freezing and I anticipate they will soften in the sun, but with temperatures predicted to stay below freezing throughout the day, the snow surface might not get as sinkable as yesterday. I think it’ll be a lively one today. The spring sun always gets me in a good mood.
