3/23/25 Conditions Report

2:00 Operations Update: Chair 2 will be closed for the remainder of the day due to high winds at the summit.

1:15 Operations Update: Chair 2 is currently on hold due to high winds. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 2 for the remainder of the day.

11:30 Conditions Update: Precipitation has changed to light rain with a mixture of sun on the lower part of the mountain. There’s a lot of fun to be had out there with the new snow, so it’s a good time to bust out those waterproof layers and get some laps.

10:00 Conditions Update: It’s super nice out there this morning, with snow coming down steadily and starting to stack up atop the corduroy and packed powder left over from yesterday. There’s soft, fun turns across the board, with an inch or two already accumulated near the summit and snow coming down pretty heavily. Snow quality is variable by elevation, with the driest conditions up on Chair 2. Below Midway, temperatures are hovering right around freezing and the snow is a denser cream. Precipitation is forecasted to continue throughout the day and temperatures will follow a warming trend as we head into the afternoon, so we’re hoping this dump delivers a couple more inches of new snow before mixed precipitation likely takes over later in the day. Conditions are great out there, so it’s an awesome time to gear up to get some laps, and the Chair 5 pub is ready to provide hot food and a cozy interior if you need to dry off later in the day!

6:30 Conditions Report: Happy Sunday! We are starting the morning off with some flakes falling over the mountain. It’s a little dusting to spruce up the corduroy before the resort opens. Expect comfortable temperatures today, with a little precipitation and a little breeze. We should see a little more accumulation from the precipitation today. Off-piste conditions will be variable but mostly packed powder, and the groomers should be edgeable and soften slightly as the day progresses. Get out there and get after it!

See you on the mountain!
