2:30 Parking Update: Parking spots are opening up in the Main Base Area lots.
11:00 Conditions Update:Â It’s real nice out there this morning! Consistent snowfall over the couple weeks is keeping things soft both on- and off-piste. Groomers are in excellent condition; the corduroy is beginning to get chewed up in popular areas to create some playful mounds of soft snow. Off-piste areas are fun across the board, with the deepest piles stacking up out in the bowls and amongst the trees. More trafficked areas are mostly packed powder. It’s sunny and beautiful – a perfect bluebird powder day at The Ridge!
9:20 Parking Update: Overflow parking is in effect. Main Base Area parking lots are full. We are shuttling from our offsite lots further down the mountain.
9:00 Parking Update: Main Base Area Lots are filling up. Once full, we will be shuttling from our offsite lot further down the mountain.
6:30 Conditions Report:Â Our wintery weather continues into today as we are starting the day with some fresh white topping our snow surfaces with some snow expected to fall into the morning. It’s forecast to be a little brighter with comfortable temps and some wind after that, so if you’re skiing long enough you can get the best of both worlds. We keep stacking inches on our base depth despite the best efforts of the weather in the valley- the mountain holds the line! Our patroller reports some windrift at the summit, telling me the snow is light and dry, which I’m excited to dive into. Temperatures are staying consistent at the top, but lower elevations are inching above freezing when the sun is highest so explore a few runs off Chairs 1 and 4 in the afternoon for some softer turns! We’ve got another long day scheduled for today, so get out and find some fresh snow to spray!
See you on the mountain!
