3/20/25 Conditions Report

11:30 Operations Update: Chair 2 is now open. A huge thanks to our lift maintenance team and the Chelan County PUD for their quick response in restoring power to Chair 2.

10:00 Conditions Update: It’s been snowing steadily for the last 2 hours or so, and fun conditions abound this morning! The sun has just started to peek through, and we can expect a mix of partly sunny skies and snow showers for the rest of the day. The corduroy is coated with just enough fresh snow to make for some playful, surfy turns that toss up some cheeky sprays. It was a bit blustery on the upper slopes last night with a west wind, so some areas have been loaded deeper or scoured near the tops of the chairs. Off-piste areas are variable underneath, but those out-of-the-way stashes are feel bottomless today with some new fluff atop the thicker layer of last week’s snow that’s just started to settle out. We’re optimistic about snagging another inch or two as the day continues, and we’d love to see you out there!

8:20 Operations Update: At approximately 8 am this morning, we temporarily lost power to the resort. Power returned to most of the resort within a few moments, but we are still without power to the summit and Chair 2. Chair 2 will start the day on hold as we work with the Chelan County PUD to restore power service to Chair 2. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 2 for the remainder of the day.

6:30 Conditions Report: We’re ready for another awesome day on The Ridge after an inch of new snow fell overnight with another 1-3 inches possible today! With conditions already in good shape after a snowy week last week, the fresh dusting will work nicely into the corduroy to keep things soft and velvety for some cruising today. Overhead, we can expect mixed skies with some snow showers but the sun also peaking through, which should make for a fun, dynamic day with the potential for some dramatic views. Off-piste areas retain a mixture of conditions, with plenty of powder still available out in the bowls, while an amalgamation of packed powder, chalky snow, and firm conditions can be found in higher-traffic areas.

Today’s Spirit Week theme is 60s/70s Day, so bring out your best hippie outfits and join us for some peace, love, and fresh turns. See you out there!
