10:00 Conditions Update:Â What a wonderful morning! Conditions are calm, cheery and comfortable, with excellent views of peaks and valleys stretching out in all directions. The groomers are skiing well, nicely edgeable with that predicted increase in firmness lower down. It’s definitely still edgeable and I had a great time making big carving turns down Mimi. I think today is a great day to really focus on technique and find your edges as you explore the mountain. The vibe is high on the mountain today, so come out and catch some rays!
6:30 Conditions Report: The sun is rising on another beautiful day on The Ridge. Sun and comfortable temperatures are forecast for today. It’s predicted to get windy, so make sure to cover all exposed skin. The base area temperature rose above freezing yesterday and dropped below freezing overnight, while the rest of the mountain stayed pretty cold. Anticipate edgeable groomers at all elevations with a bit firmer base on Mimi that should soften as the day progresses. It’s going to be a great day to stack some vert with our classic uncrowded slopes!
