3:10 Operations Update: For our Extended Twilight Hours tonight (3/15), Chair 1, Chair 4, and all surface lifts will remain open until 6pm. Chair 2 will be closed for the remainder of the day due to high winds at the summit. On future Fridays and Saturdays, Extended Hours are scheduled from 4pm-6pm with Chairs 1 and 2 open alongside all surface lifts.
9:30 Operations Update: Chair 2 is currently on hold due to high winds at the summit. The forecast is calling for winds to build throughout the morning before potentially subsiding midday. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 2 throughout the day.
9:30 Conditions Update: Our grooming team had the foresight to frontload last night’s grooming, so a big portion of our runs today are though velvety PM groomers. The mountain is a playground this morning with all this fresh. The consistency of the snow is dense enough to not get kicked up too bad by the wind, but light enough that is is an absolute delight to throw your skis around. Off-piste is thankful for the refresh, but conditions can be variable and there are patches of firm or slick snow that could be hiding, so make sure to feel out your tracks before committing to your line. It’s a sweet snowy Saturday at Mission Ridge!
8:45 Operations Update: Chair 2 will start the day on hold due to high winds. We will continue to update on the status of Chair 2.
6:30 Conditions Report: Enough with that sunny and sweet, we want SNOW! A thick dusting fell overnight and we’re set to get more this morning! Last night’s snow fell in the short hours of the morning, so try out the PM groomers for the best chance at a taste of pow. Comfortable temperatures are forecast, but it could get a little windy. Make sure to cover all exposed skin. Soft cords and snowy turn abound, so get up to the mountain to explore!
See you on the mountain!
