5:45pm Operations Update:Â A huge thanks to our lift maintenance team and the Chelan County PUD for their quick response in restoring power to the summit. All lifts will be scheduled for operation tomorrow (March 15th).
3:20pm Operations Update: Chair 2 will be closed for the remainder of the day. For tonight’s Twilight Operations, Chair 1, Chair 4, and all surface lifts will remain open until 6pm. Chair 3 will close at 4pm per its normal schedule. On future Fridays and Saturdays, Extended Twilight Operations are scheduled from 4pm-6pm with Chairs 1 and 2 open alongside all surface lifts.
3:15pm Operations Update:Â Chair 3 is now open.
1:15pm Operations Update: Chair 3 is on a mechanical hold. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 3 for the remainder of the day.
12:40pm Operations Update:Â Chair 2 is on a mechanical hold. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 2 for the remainder of the day.
10:00 Conditions Update:Â Truly a wonderful experience skiing today. I started by ripping the Chair 4 lift line, which is insulated with a comforter-thick layer of velvety snow. It buried my skis, but its dry consistency made it easy to handle. I took it up to the top to string together some tele-turns on the sinkable groomers before dropping into Lip Lip, which hosted packed powder just as bouncy and sweet. The base on Mimi was a little firmer but still edgeable and definitely smooth. The sun and snow has my dopamine absolutely flowing this morning and I’m excited to get back out for some more!
6:30 Conditions Report: After yesterday’s powder fun, who’s ready for some late winter sun? Expect big skies and comfortable temperatures today, along with some breeze. The groomers should still be pretty soft from yesterday’s refresh. Off-piste will be stashy and variable, but because temps trended fairly low overnight the remnants should be in good shape. We are open until 6pm tonight so whether you’re an earlier bird who carves the cords or a night owl looking to tear up the runs, the mountain has a little something in store for you today.
See you on the mountain!
