We are thrilled to share that the 2024/25 season at Mission Ridge will officially kick off on Saturday, November 23rd. This pre-Thanksgiving opening marks the 12th time in 13 years we’ve been able to launch our season on or before the holiday weekend. It’s a reflection of our dedication to providing early-season access for skiers and snowboarders. To start the season, we’ll have Chair 1, The Wenatchee Express (Chair 2), and Chair 3 operating from 9 am to 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. As conditions permit, we’ll open additional chairlifts and terrain in the coming days.
The early November snowfall gave us a much-needed boost, but the real credit goes to our snowmaking team, who made the most of every opportunity despite challenging weather conditions. Their relentless efforts, combined with the hard work of all our mountain crews, have once again allowed us to welcome you back to the slopes before Thanksgiving. It’s something we don’t take for granted and are proud to offer to our community.
All resort services will be open, including the Chair 5 Pub, Ka-Wham Cafe, and Midway Lodge, offering early-season menus to keep you fueled for a day on the mountain.
We’re also continuing our tradition of honoring local heroes through the Firefighter and Emergency Personnel Appreciation program. From opening day through December 15th, we’re inviting Firefighters, EMTs, and Law Enforcement professionals—including 2024 seasonal personnel—to enjoy free skiing and riding as a thank-you for their service.
Looking ahead to opening day, the weather forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of snow with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 22 degrees. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic start to the season, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back to The Ridge.
See you on the mountain!
