11am Update:Â Chair 2 will be closed for the remainder of the day due to high winds and the forecast for continued high winds today.
10am Conditions Report: The new snow has arrived! Combined with the excellent grooming, we found the turns to be better than anticipated this morning! The groomed runs are skiing smooth and expected to become softer and more variable as the day continues. Conditions off-piste are variable, ranging from soft, wind-loaded snow to firm surfaces and may change with the addition of new snow during the course of the day. Chair 2 continues to be on hold due to high winds and we will keep you informed on the status as the day continues.
8:20am Update:Â Chair 2 will be starting the day on hold due to high winds at the summit. The forecast is calling for winds to increase this morning as well. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 2 for the remainder of the day.
Early Morning Report:Â The storm we have been waiting for has arrived, and with it has come the chance of 1″-3″ of new snow and high winds. We’ll be watching the winds at the summit, and there is a possibility that the wind will impact some chair operations today. Surface conditions on the groomed runs will be smooth and quick, with softer turns found on the AM groomed runs (groomed after midnight last night). Conditions off-piste are variable and may change with the addition of new snow during the course of the day.
