12/6 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update:  The groomers are skiing well this morning, and views are excellent above the valley clouds. With temperatures reaching above freezing across most of the mountain today, spring-like conditions could become prevalent as we head into the afternoon. Coverage remains good across most of the mountain, but please continue to use caution – obstacles exist in some places, especially on sunnier exposures in the Bomber area.

6:30 Conditions Report: Happy Friday! For today, we’ll return to spinning all our chairs following a strong start to the season. Nearly all lift-accessed terrain is open, and the 100Laps Terrain park is back in action for the weekend as well! It’s looking to be another pleasant day on the mountain, with light winds, sunshine, and temps on the warmer side with a high in the mid-30s. We encourage you to start your weekend off right with the freedom to explore our diverse terrain selection, but please continue to use caution: thin cover and obstacles exist.

All resort services will be open, including the Chair 5 Pub, Ka-Wham Cafe, and Midway Lodge.

We’re also continuing our tradition of honoring local heroes through the Firefighter and Emergency Personnel Appreciation program. From opening day through December 15th, we’re inviting Firefighters, EMTs, and Law Enforcement professionals—including 2024 seasonal personnel—to enjoy free skiing and riding as a thank-you for their service.

See you on the mountain!

Early season conditions exist. Low coverage in places. Please stay on open runs and respect all rope lines/trail closures as they are there for your safety.

That being said, we have a great terrain selection due to our near-record November snowfall. A majority of lift-serviced runs will be open, and the Mountain Ops team has been hard at work to get your favorite groomers in prime condition. For a full grooming report, click here.

**Anticipated open runs. Run status may change at any time. Additional terrain will open as conditions permit.
