A period of warmer and windy weather put a temporary pause on November’s strong start. Snowmaking operations were on hold for several days, but the MRSM crew was able to fire up some guns near the summit late Monday afternoon. The team was able to keep things going as the night wore on despite strong and swirling winds. The combination of wind and warming temps shut things back down by sunrise on Tuesday the 12th. The middle of the week looks to bring with it several inches of natural snow and the beginning of a period of dropping temperatures. The MRSM crew is ever ready to seize every opportunity to work their magic and bring us all that much closer to sliding on snow for the first time this season!
