1" New Snow - Winter Hanging Around

Posted on April 4th, 2014

Winter isn't quite done with us yet... A little bit of overnight snow to go with clear skies and some cooler temps this early morning.

The forecast is calling for cloudy with a slight chance of snow, breezes in the 15-20 mph range at the summit and highs in the mid 30s at the summit. We have clear skies this morning, and we're expecting more sun that clouds today.

Chairlifts in Operation

Chairs 1, 2, and 3 are in operation today, as well as the Pika Peak and #100LAPS rope tows.

Check out the grooming report for full details on groomed runs and open terrain. Skookum is closed today and through the weekend for the Northwest Cup Finals Ski Race.

Surface Conditions

The little bit of overnight snow will soften up surfaces around the mountain. Groomed runs across the mountain will be good all day. Anything in the shade in the upper basin should still be soft. Ski and ride with care as unmarked obstacles do exist. Always enjoy the mountain with a partner to share the fun and stay safe.
