10am Conditions Update: It’s a sweet day to get out there and lap some groomers, with lots of corduroy and little traffic! The grooming team did some great work re-laying the piste last night, making for significantly softer conditions than yesterday. With fairly low traffic expected today and temps in the 20s, it should stay in good condition for a while yet! For the park rats out there, we’ve got a sweet new build at 100Laps; thanks to the terrain parks team for getting that whipped up! The park – along with Chairs 1, 2, and 4 – will remain open till 9pm tonight for night skiing, and it’s looking like a good evening for it!
6:30am Conditions Report: The stars are out on another clear early morning here at The Ridge! We’re looking forward to a beautiful Thursday, with mostly sunny skies in the forecast and temperatures in the 20s. Our grooming team has been working hard throughout the night to lay a blanket of corduroy across the mountain for your enjoyment. We can expect good conditions for some smooth cruising, potentially on the firmer side to start the day. Off-piste, conditions will vary based on elevation and exposure after several days of fair weather. The best odds for some soft leftovers will be on high-elevation, north-facing slopes that get a bit of shelter from wind and skier traffic. There’s a lot of mountain to explore and it’ll be a beautiful day for it.
As is the norm on Wednesday thru Saturday nights, we’re open till 9pm tonight, so if you’re just getting off of work or school, it’s worth coming up here for some evening laps. The sunset is likely to be fantastic tonight!
See you on the mountain!
