1/8/25 Conditions Report

10:00 Conditions Update: There’s not a cloud overhead this morning (though there’s plenty below), and it’s a wonderful bluebird day at Mission. The undercast skies stretch just about to the base area, which is in and out of the mist, and the sun is gleaming across the upper mountain. The groomers are crisp this morning, with some softer areas off of Chair 4. After several days of fair weather, the ungroomed areas are becoming variable on lower and more southern exposures, but there still some good stuff to be found if you’re willing to hike or traverse a bit.

As usual, we’re expecting no crowds and no lift lines today, and we’ll be open till 9 if you’re thinking of heading up after work!

6:30 Conditions Report: Partly sunny conditions will continue today with another pleasant day to get out on the mountain and enjoy the phenomenal vistas from the top of Chair 2. To start the day, we can expect similar snow conditions to yesterday, with smooth groomers ready to be lapped. Today is expected to warm up a bit more, with a high temperature just about freezing. If the sun stays out, we may see some spring-like conditions at the lower elevations by the end of the day. If you’re looking for any residual off-piste leftovers, your best chances will be on higher-elevation north-facing exposures. Night skiing kicks back up tonight, and we’ll be open till 9pm daily until Saturday!

See you on the mountain!
