10:00am Conditions Update: Out in the sun above the clouds, the views stretch for miles on this beautiful Wednesday on The Ridge, with all the major peaks visible from the summit in their full glory. After a few weeks of cold, some warmer temperatures are a welcome respite, and the snow is responding well. The grooming team has been hard at work keeping the snow surfaces soft, and today was a success, with velvety corduroy and soft snow underneath in many areas. Off-piste areas, however, do remain quite firm; we can hope for a bit of softening as the sun rises higher throughout the day. We’re excited to keep it rolling till 9pm tonight for night skiing!
6:30am Conditions Report: Sunny skies and a clear start to the night are in the forecast here at The Ridge! We’re stoked for the weekly return of night skiing, and we’ll be open till 9pm every day until Saturday. It’ll be another fun day for skiing and riding, with temperatures that remained above freezing overnight across the mountain. The groomed runs should start the day in fairly soft condition, with further softening and slower conditions possible in sunny areas as the day progresses. Off-piste areas will start the day pretty firm but may soften in afternoon on southerly aspects. With 12 hours of skiing and riding offered today, make sure you come up to enjoy another day of sunshine on The Ridge before an active weather pattern arrives going into the weekend.
We will have the majority of terrain open today, but the 100Laps Terrain Park and the nearby trails Bypass and Summer Road will be closed for a refresh of the park features.
