10am update: It’s a wet one out there, but the smiles and laughter are all across the mountain. The first laps on the mountain offered us soft groomers and rain from the Base Area to the summit, with patchy fog across the mountain. Expect conditions to be variable as we move our way through the day. The forecast calls for more rain and periods of snow today, but even though it will be soggy, the stoke remains high!
Early Morning Report: The weekend is here, and we are excited to get back out on the mountain. It’s going to be a bit of a different weekend with wetter conditions than we are used to. We received 2″ of new snow overnight (mostly between 6pm and midnight) but that came in as mixed precip in the Base Area and up to Midway. There is a firm crust at lower elevations and it is currently raining from the Base Area to the Summit. Expect variable surface conditions out there today. Forecasted rain will soften surfaces up today. A warmer wetter day is still plenty of fun, just make sure to dress for success and wear your waterproof layers.

The month of January is dedicated to promoting skier and rider responsibility and mountain safety. Resorts across the country participate every year to educate skiers and snowboarders about being safe and using common sense on the slopes. Make sure you know the Responsibility Code to help everyone have the best day out on the mountain.
