10:00 Conditions Update:If you’re tired of the low clouds hanging in the valley, come join us at The Ridge, where we’re enjoying another day of sunny skies, crisp corduroy, and volcano vistas. Temperatures have dropped back below freezing at the summit after a couple warm days, which has resulted in off-piste areas freezing over. The softest groomers can currently be found on the lower mountain, while the higher elevations are firmer. It’s clear and breezy with significant winds from the west. We’re looking forward to another day of alpine adventure that’ll last till 9pm!
6:30 Conditions Report: Another sunny, uncrowded day awaits at The Ridge, with plenty of freshly groomed runs ready to enjoy. On-piste conditions will likely start the day similar to yesterday, with velvety corduroy of moderate firmness across the mountain. Off-piste conditions remain variable, with chalky conditions in well-sheltered areas and firmer or denser snow elsewhere. Unlike yesterday, we can expect falling rather than rising temperatures, which should keep snow surfaces a bit drier and may result in some firming.
We’re open till 9pm tonight, so it’s worth heading up here to enjoy some evening laps and a sunset! We also have a bonus night skiing date on Sunday due to the long weekend, in addition to our typical Wednesday-Saturday night skiing schedule.
See you on the mountain!
