9:30am Conditions Update: The first sunlight of 2025 has struck the Bomber cliffs, and it’s heralding in a beautiful day on the mountain! Conditions are calm, cool, and clear, but for a bit of fog right around the summit. The corduroy is in soft, excellent condition across all elevations, with a some areas adorned with the half inch of new snow we got in the early morning hours. Off-piste areas are skiing a tad firmer than they were earlier this week, but they are still in solid condition with above-average coverage in most areas. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy this day of calm before incoming storms tomorrow and Friday bring more fresh snow!
If last night’s festivities resulted in a late start this morning, fear not! It’s a wonderful day and we’re open till 9pm, so there’s plenty of afternoon skiing and riding to be had. See you out there!
6:30am Conditions Report: Happy 2025! Winter is just getting started and we can’t wait to see what the new year brings. We awoke this morning to a few flurries and some chilly conditions, a fitting start to January. The weather today calls for a high near 21 at the summit, with low winds and the chance for some continued snow showers. We’re expecting some smooth corduroy on-piste this morning, and ungroomed areas will remain fairly soft after the consistent snowfall we’ve enjoyed over the past week. Our snowpack remains strong, after the 4th deepest November/December snowfall in our 59 year history! With the next storm arriving tonight into tomorrow, we’re already feeling optimistic about 2025 and are grateful for anyone who comes up to celebrate the new year with us!
We will be open from 9am to 9pm again today as we continue our run of consecutive Night Ski operations. We will continue to operate from 9am to 9pm all the way through Saturday, January 4th!
