Saturday Forecast

The weekend is here and it is shaping up to be a great one since I think we avoided the higher temperatures. Today we may experience some winds but that shouldn’t stop us from experiencing some great groomed conditions. After a small amount of fresh snow yesterday on the upper slopes, the groom is coming out the best it’s been over these last few warm days according to our awesome groomers. Variable snow conditions exists on off-piste slopes, use extra caution in these areas today and consider making it a groomer day. All in all it should be a pretty spectacular Saturday. You should be stoked! See you on the Slope! -Connor

Friday Forecast

It was a wet one yesterday but the rain stopped early last night and there is a little new snow in the forecast. Off-piste conditions are highly variable and we recommend sticking to the groomed runs today. Conditions on the groomed runs are a medium density wet granular snow that is very forgiving and fun. These surface conditions will be great for practicing in the park before the big event tonight in downtown Wenatchee...Rails and Ales! Variable surface conditions do exist out there so ski and ride with extra cation today. Please ride carefully out there and have fun. See you on the Slope -Connor

Thursday Forecast

After a few days of warmer weather up here surface conditions have switched from a packed powder, machine groomed surface to a wet granular, softer snow. These surface conditions have a degree of variability to them, especially in shaded areas or areas with low sun exposure. Groomers have softened up a little but still ski incredibly well. They are at their best in the morning when they are freshly groomed, but still ski well after they have seem some tracks due to the softness of this snow.  In Conclusion it should be a good one out there with almost spring-like conditions to enjoy while we look forward to some colder temps for the weekend. Monday Forecast

Wow! What a day we have for you today a truly magnificent Monday. Although slightly on the warmer ends of things with a high near 43 degrees, skiing should be fabulous in these spring like conditions. Surface conditions today will be similar to yesterday’s afternoon conditions, a slightly more stable spring like snow on the very top with a firmer machine groomed base underneath. In other words all the softness of spring snow on top but firm enough underneath to lay down some nice hard turns. All this accompanied by light winds makes for an almost perfect Monday. I know I am excited you should be too! See you on the slope! -Connor

Sunday Forecast

A warm day in effect today with temperatures reaching as high as 35 degrees this afternoon accompanied by cloudy skies. This could cause some rain showers as there is a system of precipitation to the northwest of us. Currently this system is moving mostly east, it should stay out of our way if it doesn’t drift south. Looking at the radar images I am confident that things will stay dry for us today, hopefully I didn't speak to soon. Surface conditions are a dry simi-dense snow that loosens up as the afternoon progresses. The perfect snow for whatever the mountain is calling you to do today. Paired with low winds and warmer temperatures its just going to be great skiing! See you on the Slope! -Connor

Friday Forecast

We have a fabulous Friday shaping up for you this morning! Fresh snow Wednesday night and Thursday morning has created some top notch grooming conditions, a very dry, loose, dense surface that squeaks a little when you walk on it and breaks slightly when you edge into it. Off-piste surface conditions should be in excellent shape after receiving 4" the last few days, I’m certain the stashes are still out there just waiting to be skied. Overall some great surface conditions for all activities. We hope to see you soon and we hope you have a great Friday!  See you on the slope! -Connor
