Twilight Snowshoe Trek

  • Date: February 6th, 2016
  • Time: 5:00pm
  • Where: Meet outside Hampton Lodge Rental Shop

This fun, informative, guided snowshoe trek leaves from the Base Area and heads up to the Midway Lodge. There are several routes available and each trek is fitted to the group interests and abilities.

Check in is at 4:30pm inside the Ridge Mountain Works Shop at  the Rental Desk.

The trek departs promptly at 5:00pm from just outside the Rental Shop.

Cost is $10 ($5 if you are a Mission Ridge Pass Holder or WRAC member).

Snowshoes may be rented at the Ridge Mountain Works Rental Desk for $15 if you don't have a pair of your own.

Freestyle / Terrain Park Classes

  • Time: 9am-12pm
  • Where: Check in at Snowsports Center

Mission Ridge offers freestyle classes for both skiers and snowboarders.  These classes focus on:

  • The foundations of freestyle skiing and snowboarding
  • An introduction to park safety and etiquette
  • Freestyle feature and trick overviews
  • And of course... lots of practice

These classes are high energy and perfect for anyone interested in learning to ski or ride in the terrain park up to the intermediate freestyle skier or snowboarder looking to improve current skills, gain some tips, and learn new tricks.

Mountain Music Series Featuring Massy Ferguson

  • Where: Hampton Lodge

Saturday nights are all about live Music up at Mission Ridge. Whether you ski under the lights or come up just for a rockin’ show, Mission Ridge is the place to be. All the excitement goes down inside the Hampton Lodge and can be enjoyed from either the Chair 5 Pub or the KaWham Café. Dinner and drink specials will keep you fueled up and dancing the night away.

The Mission Ridge Mountain Music Series are all ages events.

Companion Rescue Workshop

  • Date: February 6th, 2016
  • Time: 9:00am
  • Where: Meet outside the First Aid Room in the Base Area

This workshop will teach you the skills to effectively operate a rescue beacon, efficiently probe the snow to determine the victim's location and stratgically move snow with your shovel to uncover your companion. Workshops begin at 9am. Participants will meet outside the Mission Ridge Base Area First Aid Room. Please be prepared with all your ski and snowboard gear to ride the chairlift to the summit at 9am.

Valentines Dinner at the Midway Lodge

Looking to do something different with your Valentine this year? Mission Ridge has the perfect romantic night planned for you and your special someone. 

Mission Ridge will be hosting a wine tasting and fine dining experience at the Midway Lodge on the the evening of Valentine's Day, February 14th. Guests will snowshoe up to the Midway Lodge and begin by warming up by the fire pit with a special wine tasting. Dinner will be accompanied by live music from Charlie Solbrig and will include:
