The start of November has brought with it some nice natural snowfall at the top of the mountain, but inconsistent and warmer than desired temps mid-mountain and below. Earlier this week, the Mission Ridge Snowmaking crew (MRSM) was able to get after it and fired up snowguns at the summit and down sections of the Tumwater run. The end of the week is seeing another small warm-up before we hope to see increasing chances of snow and slightly cooler temps through the weekend and into next week. You know that the MRSM crew will be out there day and night every chance they’re given to get the job done. Stay tuned to the website for more updates as we get closer to the opening day of the 2023/24 season. As always, we are targeting the day after Thanksgiving, conditions permitting.
