While we’ve seen a trace of snow here or there throughout the early fall, today delivered the first real snow of the new season! We picked up 6″ overnight in the Upper Basin and 4″ at Midway and in the Base Area. The excitement is high around the mountain, but we know this new snow may not stick around. Even more important than the snow is that the temps are dropping as we approach November 1st. On that day, our best in the Pacific Northwest snowmaking team can start working their magic, conditions permitting! Keep your fingers crossed for continued cold temps and more of the natural stuff as well! As always, we’re targeting the day after Thanksgiving for opening day and will keep you updated as we get closer.
