3/1/25 Conditions Report

2:50 Operations Update: Chair 3 is now open.

2:30 Operations Update: Chair 3 is currently on a mechanical hold. We will continue to update regarding the status of Chair 3 for the remainder of the day.

10:00 Conditions Update: The sun’s out and the morning is warming up! Conditions are in the process of softening, with low elevations and southerly exposures getting there first, while shady areas remain mostly firm. The morning-groomed runs off of Chair 2 are in the best condition, while night-groomed runs are largely still awaiting softening. We’re looking forward to continued sunshine throughout the day and a great sunset this evening to send off Night Skiing the right way. Vibes are high across the mountain right now, heavily augmented by the Special Olympics athletes who will continue showcasing their skills today and tomorrow. Whether you’re here to support the Olympics or enjoy a day with your family, it’s a perfect Saturday for it at The Ridge!

6:30 Conditions Report: Today’s gonna be a special day at The Ridge, with beautiful weather in the forecast and several evening events ready to send the day off in style. We’re expecting another day of gorgeous sunshine and warm temperatures, which should make for some pleasant cruising in the morning and some slower, playful conditions in the afternoon. We’ll start the day with smooth, crisp snow surfaces on the groomers and primarily firm conditions off-piste, but all areas should soften nicely as the morning progresses and the sun hits the slopes. The Special Olympics will also be kicking into full gear today with a variety of races, and we’re excited to support these incredible athletes who always bring the stoke. The evening’s gonna feature some sweet vibes; we’re ready to celebrate the last day of Night Skiing with you all, with lifts turning till 9pm for one last hurrah. We’ll also enjoy the final installment of Mountain Music, tonight featuring Bandits of the Animal Kingdom, alongside Chef Rey’s weekend dinner special at the Chair 5 Pub. It’ll be a classic Mission Ridge evening that you won’t want to miss!

See you on the mountain!
