4:00 Conditions Report: Vibes were high this afternoon, and for good reason! Conditions are a ton of fun right now, with slow, wet snow to play about in and soft conditions across most of the mountain. Wax up the sticks and get out there! Weather conditions will be in active flux throughout the evening. The summit is currently experiencing high winds and low visibility, which may impact operations tonight. The forecast is calling for the winds to maintain through the evening. Precipitation has been falling lightly through the afternoon, with a bit of rain earlier followed by frozen sleet and wet snow at the moment. Expect precipitation type and snow conditions to vary with elevation and over time.  Conditions are really soft lower down, and firmer in the immediate vicinity of the summit, where temperatures are hovering just below freezing. Dress for the weather and you’ll find some super fun snow surfaces out there to enjoy, and forgiving conditions for those getting into the bumps. If you do end up heading inside, Pizza Party will be playing live in the lodge starting at 6:30! Mountain Music nights are always a blast – and a good way to warm up and dry out with some tasty food.
