10:00 Conditions Report: A light flurry of un-forecast flakes graces us this morning as the resort awakens with skiers. It’s nice and calm throughout the mountain, with high-slung clouds that leave our 360 degree summit views unobstructed. The new snow is settling in nicely, staying cold overnight for delightfully soft groomers and bouncy off-piste terrain. As always, make sure to feel out your tracks before committing to your line as off-piste conditions can be variable. It may be chilly today, but the stoke supersedes the cold with these conditions. I had a sweet ride exploring the mountain today, and you could find a new favorite run too.
6:30 Conditions Report: A little sunshine is forecast to set the scene for your start-of-the-weekend laps today! After a week of snowfall, the trails are happy and soft and just waiting for some turns. We have our grooming team out working hard to lay down fresh corduroy in this high-quality dry desert powder. There’s some gusts and some chilly temperatures in the forecast, so make sure to layer well, cover all exposed skin, and take breaks to warm up in our full service lodges! Midway Lodge by Chair 2 is a great place to stop whether you’re lapping the top or sticking to Mimi. We’re open until 9pm tonight for Night Skiing, so come on up and stack some vert!
